Is it time to come together as a community and march on Washington? The fight to achieve LGBT rights came out of the closet thirty years ago.
The strategy to win the civil right of gay marriage must become a larger national movement if we are to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act, which prevents recognition of gay marriages even in cases where states have legalized it.

There is a growing consensus that the political climate is right, and that many of the sitting federal politicians would support our cause if they had the cover, support and publicity that a march would bring to Washington.
