Open Letter of Support to the Washington, D.C. City Council
On April 8th, the Washington, D.C. Council voted unanimously to recognize gay marriages performed in other states. This landmark decision may require the U.S. Congress to visit the legality of the Defense of Marriage Act for the first time since it was signed into law in 1996.
David Catania, a D.C. Councilmember, plans to introduce legislation to legalize same-sex marriage in the District.
The following is a letter of support to Mr. Catania and the D.C. City Council. Please help us support their efforts by sending him this message and adding a personal note.
The Letter

Your work benefits both D.C. residents and same-sex couples everywhere in the United States. Thank you for your commitment to this important issue, and know you can count on us for whatever support you need.
